A letter to veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families,

Like you, I am a veteran, having served in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during Desert Storm as part of my 33 years of commissioned service as an Army Reservist. I have experienced the VA benefit system first-hand, since I am service connected for two conditions resulting from my Desert Storm service.

My experiences have led me to want to help other veterans, and their families, obtain VA benefits to which they are entitled. I have found that some veterans do not realize that they are entitled to government benefits for sickness and injuries that are connected with their military service. Other veterans know about the VA benefits, but do not think that the medical condition they have is related to their service. Still others have applied for compensation but have been stymied in their request for benefits. Maybe you are in one of these categories. Also, if you are a veteran’s family member, you may also be eligible for benefits.

I am an attorney who has represented veterans since the year 2000, and I am prepared to help you obtain benefits such as:

  • Financial compensation for service-connected diseases and injuries

  • Pensions for veterans who meet certain income standards but are not service-connected

  • "Housebound" and "aid and attendance" payments for veterans who are unable to care for themselves because of conditions that are not service-connected

  • Medical and dental care

  • Medical care, death benefits and other benefits for family members

I will review your case, give you my advice, and represent you at no upfront cost to you. The only compensation I ask for is a standard, VA-approved modest percentage of any back financial benefits I am able to obtain for you; future benefits will be 100% yours. The modest compensation helps fund the operation of my law practice, which is devoted entirely to helping veterans and their families. In return, you can expect a thorough review of your case, timely action in guiding your case through the Department of Veterans Affairs, and experienced representation.

I am a retired Army Reserve Judge Advocate (JAG). My service included positions as a Staff Judge Advocate, Chief Legal Officer of a civil affairs unit, and commander of a basic combat training unit. I am accredited as an attorney by the Department of Veterans Affairs, and admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

I look forward to serving you,

        Dick Geyer
